May we take this opportunity to express our satisfaction with the water filter system?
The town water at Lemon Tree Passage is a very high quality product to start with. The water comes from an area known as Tomaga where the catchment is mostly pure white sand. Rain is filtered through this sand and we are told the town water is drawn from a depth of about 100 feet. We are lead to believe that rainwater that has soaked down through one hundred feet of sand will have any ground surface impurities removed from it in the process.
Our problem with the water is that the Hunter Water Authority adds chemicals to it. Unfiltered water actually leaves a scale on the inside of our hot water jug. The filtered water is crystal clear and there is no scale. Quite separate from the cool drinking water we have available, we find the filtered water makes better quality cups of tea and coffee as well. We now believe we drink the purest water available anywhere.

We are so pleased with our own water filter that, as each of our children has left home, we have bought them one also.

Ours is the 'white rosebud' design and many of our visitors admire it.... We think Durand water filters are healthy, practical and beautiful, and the water tastes great. We will never drink tap water again, as we know the water we are drinking is healthy and pure. We keep a 2 litre jug of filtered water in the fridge at all times and serve it with each meal.

We regularly buy our filter candles direct from you by mail & it is great to see that in this age of selfishness and greed, customer loyalty is important to you. It is nice to be recognised and rewarded as good customers.

We've had our system for at least 9-10 years, possibly longer......
